Never give up hope

I actually quit smoking for 10 weeks, then the cravings hit really bad and I bought a packet. Despite this however, I saw that I had saved $1500 during this quit attempt and have decided to quit again, my motto is "Never give up on giving up", I have decided that it was just a slip up and I can do this again and learn from my journey, "To infinity and Beyond"!!!!

Hi ickjc1975. But all means, never give up on giving up, but don't miss too many opportunities to take the ride with fellow quitters. There are so many stories on how to quit on his site not to mention those starting out with you. Support for hem and they will support you. Margaret Thatcher is the name of my craving and she tells me to reward myself with nicotine whenever I reach a milestone. Well, you can image Ne what I say to her... It has worked for 508 days and I have no interest in lighting up. The cravings are still there though. Ultimately, the choice is yours. Will you choose the cash or the trash? (Ciggies)...

Hi Mick, glad you posted this. I had a rough day yesterday only day 4. After being told by my family I was cranky etc. bludged a cigarette from a friend smoked it, felt guilty. Today I am continuing on my quit journey. Your post made me realise I can do it just as you can. Good luck with the rest of your journey. 10 weeks is a major victory over the dreaded ciggies.
