This quitting cigarettes is so habit forming. After all the early days of anguish , despondency , pain , fear , anxiety and anger I am beginning to feel like a real non smoker. Although I am fully aware that I am only ever one puff away from the demon I am current enjoying a fantastic buzz from being free.

Was the pain of quitting worth it ? You bet. Quitting is one of the most difficult and rewarding tasks ever. Coming up for 400 days Nicky Teen free and so so so grateful to icanquit and the regular posters.

Hi Dobbin, nice to hear from you again and that you are still on track. Time flies, was just like yesterday that i joined this site just on 3 months back and you were the first person i conversed with. Giving up is hard and i too have had my ups and downs. However i hope one day i too can say i am a year free. All the best.

Hi Dobbin congratulations on 400 days that is a huge achievement. You hold the torch for all of us starting out. As you say only one puff separates us from the other side . So may the buzz free days continue for you or should I say may the buzz be with you. Well done.

Hi Dobbin. You are traveling really well. Have you noticed how things we say to others in our posts come back to haunt us? I mean that in a positively good way. We learn so much about our own thinking about how to quit. This is constantly being reinforced by responses and posts by others. When I started out I had no idea about anything. Now I know how to manage 492 days but like you and others I know what a fine line it is too cross back to where it all began. Always on guard...
