Wow, my cravings in week 3 are stronger than in week 1 and 2. I find this rather strange and un expected.

Is this normal

Hi shueardm,

We are all different but I found the cravings particularly bad in week 3. They seem to ease off after week 4.

I just pictured the craving as the nicotine having a tantrum like a child because I no longer wanted to play (lol).

It does get better. Good luck

Hi Shueardm, what you going through is normal. It does get better though. To be honest a person needs to be at least 90 days quit to be somewhat outa the woods.

I will be 100 days by the end of the week and only now not taking any serious cravings. Habit is worse and everyone needs to work on it ,however they find suitable. This is my 1st time quit after 50 yrs smoking and down to only 2 nrt lozenges a day. Good Luck.

Hi Shueardm. There appears to be no consistent pattern for cravings having read the posts on here. Point is take each day at a time and the cravings will reduce in intensity. The cravings seem to change to thoughts which we can easily deal with by not dwelling on them. Good luck and keep going as at some point you will find it will dramatically get so much better.
