Still hanging in there.

Well 40 days have been and gone, stress beyond the norm, crying, being snarky, laughing like a loon, eating everything in site ( will be resembling a pale Oompa Loompa soon!) and feeling like a lot of challenges have come my way In this short time. Somehow I'm still smoke free and I don't want a cigarette as such just crave nicotine. I know this craziness will end, just breathing deep until it does ( oh and eating) I'm thanking the fact that I'm stubborn, it's not always a good trait but in this instance it's working for me...keep going everyone, it will be worth it!

Hi Cranky, we all get good days and sometimes bad days but it does get easier longer it goes. I try not to eat everything in site but food does taste better without smoking. Mostly eating more fruit and nuts and chocolate....about 5 bits while watching tele to keep the then urges from continuing. I find the mornings hardest with a cup of coffee and it is what i am working on. So, cheer up and if you like what you eat then eat it but try to keep in moderation. Better than smoke going into your body. Cheers.

Hey Cranky. Your doing great and sound as though you really mean it. All these trials you are going through will refine you into a majestic non-smoker and the issues you are dealing with eventually will be seen as gifts. ( you ain't wanna go through them again ). Not so Cranky and well on the way to being a winner. Well done
