Quit Snus 2 months now..still withdrawl

I used camel snus for 8 years to get off smokes. I was up to 1.5 to almost 2 tins a day. 16 to 25 a day. According to another story on this site that would be about 5 packs a day of nicotine. I quit smoking because I developed copd from smoking. My mom died at 60 because she could not breath or quit smoking so her heart gave out. I have a brother that smoked for 2 years and a sister that smoked a lot and all of us have copd. Runs in the family.
9 weeks ago I was hospitalized for 6 days. because my heart rate got real high because I could not breath. ..bronchitis. I am 62... 2 years older than when my mom died. I am 8 years off smoking. I cold turkey the snus because I was so sick I wanted to get the most out of it.. (crazy..huh) It is 9 weeks with no nicotine and I am reading this post finding relief from a post about a year old on here.... Person has about 9 weeks off a tin or so a day and doing atavan to help cope with withdrawals.. I may try that .. maybe not. I really hate this feeling and should have told the doctors or my doctor but thought it was no big deal... but I guess it is for some ??? or all?? .. Snus not as harmful as smoking.. but withdrawals are bad.. I really liked doing the snus. Feel like I lost a friend. Take care. Hope this helps... I do not like being addicted.
