Gout Anyone?

I am just wondering if anyone here has experienced servere gout while using champix? Im at the 3 week mark and have been told by my doctor that my suddenly unexplained swollen painful foot is gout. The naturalist at the local health store told me this is possibly caused by the champix. Im not sure about this so thought id put it out there..
