Hi quitters, I have been smoke free for 17 days (yipee) but have had to stop taking the night time tablet altogether because of the severe nausea I was experiencing. I haven't taken the night dose for over a week now and have no desire to smoke :)

My question is ... has anyone else succeeded by cutting their dose to one a day?

Feeling hopefull :)

I got to week three, day one , and stopped taking Champix . I had the works. sever nausea, lips and tongue numb, swollen sinus, difficulty breathing. weird dreams, not scary just weird, flu like symptoms. coughed fit to turn myself inside out you name it I had it . and don't mention the pain in the lungs.

I am now 114 days smoke free. Still suffering post quit symptoms but am getting a little better each day . so just hang in there. If you can manage on just one then talk with the Dr. It can be done , just think 17 days smoke free

every day you don't smoke is adding to the tally of smoke free days

Hi Louisepink, I only took Champix for the first seven days and then quit...

So keep the faith and most important than anything is believe in yourself

Thanks for the positive comments. I will keep taking one a day for the duration of the course I think. I failed last time and feel it was because I stopped Champix too early. It's a continual head battle hey? I have smoked for a long time though (35 years.. YUK) so I figure what's three months of a daily pill.. Go us πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘ŒπŸ»
