You are amazing , well done. It inspires me, when i am struggling, to be able to read that people can do this and that it does, eventually ease of a bit. 6 days to go, woohoo!

Hey Dobbin, this is so exciting. You really have been an inspiration to so many people. Your sense of humour and sheer bloody-mindedness is a thing of beauty. Please don't stop visiting once you've got through your 1 year, we all still need you. Are you going out to celebrate? Hugs

Hey Whitewillow. Trying to stay humble here. Taking my wife out for putting up with me lol. Thanks for comments and will stay as I owe you all so much

Hi Dobbin,
Trust you realise that you are being cheered on by all. Your journey will be an inspiration to so many others who are quite nervous about their decision to quit.
I just know you would like the days to evaporate into 366 days. Sorry, you would have to pick a Leap Year. After a year, you no longer have to check your progress daily. Nevertheless it serves as a fantastic reminder of how you have beaten the odds. The odds of succeeding as we know are about 6%. Those who wish to go the distance must be as pig headed in their quest to quit as they were naive and pig headed to start. I think his rings true for you and me and a few others...
