Dear Webbquit

I know how you feel I had a slip up the other day and had 2 puffs and threw the cigi out. BUT please don't give in and don't give up. Just keep trying to kick it in the butt - don't let it mess with your head - you are the strong one!! you can do this :)

Gooday Webbquit, your reference to "white ox" is that tobacco brand?. I was on tobacco for years and packet cigarettes did nothing for me when i became used to tobacco. I am like you if i see someone rolling the urges start, however cigarettes in pack form do not bother me. I am on 25 days now and if you put your mind to it and believe in yourself and also having regard the damage you do , you will finally quit. All the best....

Well I am starting again. Supposed to quit on the 11th August but didn't make it through the day. Hoping to do better this time. I am 68 and been smoking since I was 18. So it is long past time to quit. So difficult as I feel they are part of me. Oh have also been diagnosed with copy.

Catkin, you have your chance to quit now. I too smoked for 50 yrs. COPD can be arrested but you "must" stop now. You have to realise the consequences and say i have had my fun. After the first week it gets easier....honestly. Try hard and keep posting for support.
