So today I am 13 weeks quit and have just buried my oldest sister at the age of 65 . Shirley had a double lung transplant 8 years ago and lost her battle last week . To all u new and old quitters please stay strong none of us want to die this way

So sorry to hear of your loss, so proud of you 13 weeks is amazing, it is going to be a very trying time for you, so try and stay strong and not give in, we are all here for you so come and vent anytime big hugs and I will be thinking of you.

Hi Sandydee, assume your older sister was a smoker. So sorry to hear of your loss. This is obviously a wake up call for you and the same for all of us on the quit trail. We owe it to ourselves and the memory of those who paid the ultimate price to persevere and quit.
