Day 12 down

Posted in Quit experiences
schedule 9 Aug 2016

Tough day today, emotionally taxing and my 'stressor' appeared. Last year I fell off the quit wagon due to my inability to cope with my eldest sons mental health disease. It was a very difficult time. Today it was back in the limelight and I was ready this time. I breathed through the stress, offered love and support but also acknowledged I wasn't superhuman and couldn't fix everything and everyone. I tried to focus on breathing in and out calmly. I got through, tears were shed but I knew that smoking wasn't going to help the situation at all. Find your peaceful place in times of stress. And breath deeply, it really does help.

Dear Cranky88, I could only imagine how difficult it would be to see your baby suffer. No matter what happens in your life, you have to remember to put yourself first. You've done so well so far and dealt with such a difficult thing extremely well. Your stories always motivate me.

Dear cranky 76, you are an inspiration to me and to many others I'm sure. When we feel like giving up we need to remember why we started this journey and that we are getting stronger every day :)

It must be trying moments for you Cranky76, but please try and focus on your reasons to stay quit. Smoking is delusional and will only destroy your health in the long run.
