Age 45 a little less than 20 years smoking. Smoking as been a bad habit and a hard addiction to break. But please stick with it and at weak moments don't smoke:) I quit on Chantix for over 7 years. A couple years ago I decided to start vaping. Well one thing lead to another and I started smoking again. I am starting chantix again. After day 5 I don't want to smoke. I definitely will be cutting them in half. Sleeping became a problem. I wish everyone luck. Honestly for me I know I can never be weak again smoking is the hardest habit to break. I am also in the USA could not for a forum for us.

I had a bad night last night and I started to smoke again. Going to keep trying. Hopefully this cycle can break. On 1mg and a 1/2 may need to up it again. Good luck to everyone!

Bless you, Patience, no-one needs to berate you for starting smoking again, I bet you're doing that all by yourself, aren't you. The thing is, you're stronger than you realise, you did this once before and stayed quit for 7 years which is incredible. Most I have managed before now is a month, I'm now on 10 weeks smoke free and it's thanks to this site and the overwhelming support everyone gives to each other. I couldn't find anything like this in the UK either but have been telling people about this site as an NRT :) You will stop, you just need to believe you can. I believe in you.

Thanks so much Whitewillow. You are right I have been beating myself up. Problemy is I work from home so I buy a pack and then I keep smoking. I also have a boyfriend who can smoke one a night. Don't know how anyone can do that. But after this is am hoping after this is am able to complete this cycle. Congratulations on your 10 weeks. So proud of you. Life really changes after you stop smoking your goals seem endless. Thanks for the encouragement. I am cheering you on and myself!
