diseases of the throat

I've quited for 2 months, in this period I have permanently diseases of the throat. it's a painfull, I was to the doctor, she sad I have chronical inflammatory process and it will be always suffer me.
May u have same experience about throat problems? Or may be it's in connection to quiting??

lungs for me and maybe it never fully gets better but I think with time not smoking things can get better, we have to have hope !!
