After a while it just gets better

328 days nicotine free and still can't believe how far I have come. It just gets better the farther away from nicotine we come. Went to a party last night and it was sad to see so many youngsters smoking. The outside air was strong with the smell of smoke. I wondered how many of them would be lucky enough to survive to my age ( 68 ) without suffering serious illness or death. Having finally given up at 67 after over 50 years of smoking I am extremely lucky. Thanks all at icanquit as I approach my first non smoke year since the age of 14.
