2 weeks plus!
Hey; thank you so much, all of you!! Here I am, stubborn me, Day 10 of ZERO smokes. I actually quit approx 14th June, but stubborn me, still had ONE every day - just 'cos I could, didn' even really want it, or enjoy it, just wasn't gonna be bossed around by anyone, not even ME ...!!!! go figure. ... All good! and have stopped the Champix at night; better sleeps. Downside is I have flu - but that doesn't make me want to smoke; very grateful I don't or would be coughing baaaad - just the cheap wine I can afford now does taste cheap ... :-( Happy in this new non-smoking life!
Sounds as though your "taste buds" are going "cuckoo ". I am nicotine-free for four weeks and 4 days and everything tastes so strange! Hang in! Keep going!
Oh yeah ... cuckoo ... & strange smells, I swear there's a sweet burning smell nowadays ... maybe that's old ashtrays ...??? :-) Yep hanging in; it's fun ...!! a new sensory world to explore!
well you can always ditch the cheap wine with the smokes and go all in :)
well done on the 10 days sure you have many more to come.

Hey IC old young faithful pillar of strength - carry on encouraging us all!!! you are amazing. Nope not planning to ditch the cheap wine :-) I need SOME vice still!! Surviving no smokes remarkably well. Could have a drag but don't need to; anyways my meeeean partner won't let me steal a drag ..... he's just given up alcohol so I don't expect him to give up smokes yet ... amazing we can both do the other in each others' company (not-in-face) - both learning strength!!! and yes, we are doing this :-) Very proud of being a non-smoker :-) & proud of all of you too!!
