267 days smoke free and feeling good. Gave up at 67 years of age and still can't believe my progress. No more cravings but just the rare thought when I think I would like a cigarette but the intensity has gone. I do not dwell on these thoughts any more as the option is mine. Great to have control back over smoking and really feel a sense of freedom. This site has been a great gift as only one ex smoker understands another. I always peruse through others stories and tips and follow progress.

Well done and fantastic effort! FREEDOM! in my best William Wallace voice or is that Billy Connolly. Anywho this site has been a life saver for me and keeps me focused and determined to never light up again. Thank you for sharing and inspiring us to keep on this smoke free journey.

Congratulations Dobbin. I too found this site of great comfort and support in the early months of quitting. Too true that only ex smokers understand this journey. Thanks for posting
