4 months without a cigarette

Posted in Quit experiences
schedule 30 Jun 2016

I am 120 days without nicotine in any form. Things have changed tremendously in my life, not just because I put down the cigs but I've also been through things that would want to make people smoke even more . I gave up smoking at the critical point in a law suit where I was the defendant fighting for a large percentage of my earthly wealth. I survived it and think I did pretty well convincing my supposed enemy that I could forgive him if he dropped the charges. That's over now but I'm in another one for entirely different reasons (I am the defendant again)

On top of that there is betrayal by people who I thought were friends and close to me.

Now I'm resolute that this was all meant to be. I'm going to move forward without fear and whatever comes I really don't want to smoke anymore.

BTW. Its true when they say that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. I'm seeing this for real this year.

Hi Manchild, I think you should write a book. What an interesting life, even if it has more downs than ups at the moment. And if you are not wasting valuable time smoking you are in a better position to ride out the highs and lows, whatever they may be. And you will be better prepared to take on whatever comes next.
