The eating of carbohydrates helps suppress the nausea, but at week eleven I really had enough of feeling sick, rumbling stomach so have stopped the Champrix. It is harder, I now have the odd craving for a cigarette but I keep thinking this was too hard too start again. No one in the family is that supportive, husband knows it's hard, father who is 88 really dosen't notice. Haven't seen the benefit yet, but hopefully will soon.

I am 100% doing this for me, if others benefit that's great but when I am 100% doing it for me it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, and I get support on here, but there's sure no cheers squad at home.

hang in there and remember why you are quitting :)

I am mid way through week 11 on Champix, I think I have been extremely lucky, I really have not had many negative feelings being on Champix except my sleep patterns have been all over the place. The last few weeks I seem to be able to get at least one good night sleep a week sometimes even two. I am smoke free and at the moment that is my focus so we all go on one day at a time, good luck to us all, it is hard work but it is worth it

Hi Storm, I too have suffered with sleeping through the night whilst on Champix so I stopped taking the evening pill during week 8. That has worked great for me. After 12 weeks on Champix I stopped for 3 days and like you the thoughts of smoking were stronger. To give myself a better chance I have continued taking 1 a day and will then reduce them to every other day and wean myself off them slowly.
