day 1

Hi i made the decision to quit smoking last night the last smoke i have had was a 7.30 Thursday night so its been 29 hours without a smoke i feel ok am tired but i expected that. I quit for 4 months using champix and then i started up again. i am feeling hopeful i have kicked the habit for good. The smoke is not going to win i am i am taking back control and not going to let the ciggies beat me. All of your stories have helped me and for that i am very thankful. # 1 for me 0 for the ciggies

that's the way well done, I know its not so easy stopping but I haven't seen anyone write they died from the craving etc.. my 1st few days was hell but I didn't take that 1st puff, and if I don't take that 1st puff today I cant set off the monster who just wants more.
if I don't feed him/her , him/her loses power in the high craving stakes, but I am sure its a sneaky bugga so have to stay aware of my addiction doesn't matter if I haven't smoked for 10 years , one puff could undo all that hard work, not willing to lose what I have worked so hard for.

Good for you Jules14. Treat smoking as an enemy to you and your loved ones and give it the distain it deserves. On every occasion you do not succumb to the habit, you have won a battle against your enemy and soon enough you will have won the war...keep going.👍

Well done Jules14. I'm on my 38th day today and I've smoked heavily for a very long time. I don't know who you are but I wish you well as I am an ex-smoker too.
