Hi. Have just reached 182 days or 6 months smoke free. Have put on a stone in weight but have joined a gym which I use regularly. Have saved approximately £1300 in british pounds. Really feel fantastic about stopping and the cravings are rare now. I invariably wake up and forget I was a smoker. When I smoked I hated that first one. I recommend be persistent because it is worth it.

Well done Dobbin, I was 180 days yesterday, so major hi 5s to us,

Well yes I gained weight as well, but it has to be better than filling our lungs up,

Great news - your story is great. Good to hear from a veteran. I was bemoaning the weight gain today but losing it has to be easier than quitting nicotine. Well done and keep up the good fight.

Great effort Dobbin. We will be able to identify each other in the street as many of us are chunkier than we were. We're also richer and healthier and we smell nicer too 😀
