Tears are a new daily occurence for me

I seem to be emotionally tearful a lot, I am assuming this to be part of the letting go, I walk in the mornings and years flow freely, I need wipers on my sunglasses. I writing to ask if this is a part of my quit.

Cath57, I don't know if it's part of letting go or guilt but the past 2 days I have been the same. Then again it doesn't hurt to shed a few tears now and again.

I think smoking is a lid on a jar which contains so many of our emotions. I have cried through six months of quitting and, after about a month, I just told everyone that I was more prone to crying than I used to be. They were so pleased that I had quit so it was not a problem. Now, I cry much less - it does taper off.

Days 18-22 were ridiculously emotional for me. Couldn't explain or understand it. Would tear up over nothing. I'm currently on day 24 and sick as a dog! Which is awful but no emotional thoughts at least. !
