another step closer

I just had to tell you:
I had a minor car accident this morning on my way to work, damn Taxi side swiped part of my car -stress, bad news.
Anyway…
I got to work and thought must ring insurance blah blah, inconvenience blah, when a work colleague approached me after 1 hour stating “ I think you have beaten it” , I was like what?? She said “ you never asked for a cigarette!!!”
I cannot believe it, I did not even thing of a ciggie!!!!!!!! which would have been the first thing I'd would have reached for in such a stressful situation,
This put a smile on my face which is remarkable knowing I have to go through crappy red tape , smash repairers etc. , so another silver lining found while Not smoking, train the brain, Yippee and Hooray !.
Sorry… I’m just excited about this small bonus.

That's huge!! not even thinking about resorting to a ciggie on times like these. Congratulations!!

I remember when I first quit. I lost my car keys and that was the closest day for me to have a cig. But I didn't, and that has now lasted for over 4 years.
Congrats on getting past that hurdle. You will do it :)
