Today is hard wish it was done, trying to accept once a smoker always a smoker. Today I was thinking all those reform smokers were just trying to stay a winner. Perhaps that might be me, I know a few non active smokers who love the smell of cigarettes, at this very moment I would find that too much. A friend said consider yourself lucky that smoking has become a dying art, or they are just dying off. That could be me, either way.

It gets easier. The first few days are awful and you just have to go to bed early, walk a lot and do whatever it takes NOT to smoke. The whole journey gets easier but it's ups and downs all the day. Visit this site and don't listen to non-smokers - they have no idea.
Good luck with it.

You have to remind yourself that you're not giving up smoking but changing your lifestyle without the presence of nicotine. For many years we have incorporated smoking in our daily routines and mixed along with others that smoked as well. It's a lifestyle we are used to and changing that lifestyle Is very difficult. Keep heading towards that direction and continue fighting the mindset you have everytime you have an urge to smoke.
My name is Desi Winiata and you can read my journey on Facebook. A lot of my friends have been inspired to changing their lives for the better :0)

Hi. Fullofhope hit the nail on the head regarding the advice not to listen to non smokers. Spend some time reading past posts on this site. You will find stories which make you sit up and listen and believe in your ability to quit the habit...
