never quit quitting
I had to quit due to medical reasons so I still craved a smoke after doing so for bout 35 yrs. I am still taking Champix, am onto the last 2 scripts now taking their intake to almost 6 mths.....I have a toke from an E-Cig if the cravings too strong....must say though I went to Bingo last night, hadn't been there for who knows how long, all I could hear was smokers coughing all the damn time thinking how annoying it was, that was me once.....Glad to say too how cleaner and fresh I feel both inside and out, my cough, gone, money saved, huge bonus....I am finally starting to feel the rewards of being a non smoker....It's my 2nd attempt after patches failed hence never quit quitting, it will one day pay off....
Congratulations krm, you are doing great, I rekon we all need a good pat on the back for this! I too, have had many many attempts over 44 yrs to quit, sometimes I lasted 3 months, other times 2 yrs, but heck - this time it's for good. Be crfl with the E-cig, they can be dangerous. The rewards as you say are great, better skin, no coughing at night and morning, etc etc, Good luck on your journey, I wish you all the best.
