Well I'm rather surprised, it's been two days and no cravings and not even angry, I had smoked since I was a young teenager and now I'm 35 so just over 20 years and I honestly believe that it's psychological because I not only gave up cigarettes (20 a day) but I also changed my diet and started training and gave up the other nasty smoke... imo I think if we really want something bad enough we can do it, I didn't smoke as long as some of the people on here, but I honestly believe that each and every one of us can do it, you get stressed don't let these filthy things take your life, and what's worse is we pay a company to slowly kill us, do the math on how long we (us) were smokers... It would have been cheaper and less painful if we had paid a hit man to knock us, because the reality is just that, we are paying to die.... I had to get that out there lol. - good luck everyone and remain strong, don't let it fck you up 😉

Hi Nick1980. Congratulations! I feel what you saying... and nicotine is powerful addiction. But with positive attitude we can overcome this addiction. We just have to keep going and don't look back. I promised myself no more filthy, nasty tobacco. I am 490 days into my quit. I am very happy, and I am taking care of myself finally. I keep posting because I would like to inspire people to quit this nasty habit, tobacco enslavement. More power to you, Stay Quit! Keep us posted!

Hi Kaf, I hope your not struggling still and trying your absolute hardest 😊 - I will tell you what has happened in 6 1/2 weeks.... Just after writing this post I had a CT SCAN and it shows my main arterie (LAD) is calcified, meaning it's hardened and I could have a heart attack... My cholesterol in Nov 2015 was 9.6 and my Liver Triglycerides was 4.3..... (Fatty liver). I had a blood test last week and my total cholesterol is 5.56 and my trigs are 1.3!!! My diet consists of 10g or less of saturated fat a day and sugar only from fruits and nothing else. I only drink water (2 litres a day) and honestly, I haven't even thought or craved a cigarette and I honestly believe you can do this.... you have my support if you need it 😊 - Jojie thanx for your comment it's inspiring to hear how others have beat this terrible carcinogen that is killing so many people everyday, I admire your 490 days and will soon enough be there, thanx for your comment 😊
