Well I started smoking at the ripe old age of 14, I am now 52 I am English and living in Alberta Canada, after recently getting divorced I decided to completely alter my life, joined a few dating sites which was also new to me, soon realized that people are not really interested in smokers, it's like I had the plague. Well this new start in life also meant finding a new woman, so off I popped to the doctors and he put me on Champix. After the first two weeks I sort of got sick of feeling sick, so off I popped to the doctors again screaming these are useless and I am feeling sick all the time. He asked me how the quitting is going, and I said great, not had one in a week and a half now, he then replied "so these USELESS tablets are making you feel sick" I said yes. He then told me that together with a full glass of water before taking the tablet, to make sure I have plenty to eat as this is why I am feeling sick, true enough the sickness disappeared and I am at the end of week eight going into week nine. and absolutely no cravings or thoughts of smoking, not sure if it is the drug, but thought I would get some kind of craving after 38 years of 20 a day. Anyway good luck to all you quitters on the other side of the world, oh and I know they call this the wonder drug, can't be that good, still no woman yet.
