I would like to ask my fellow quitters if they have had a croaky voice after quitting smoking.

Maybe you were shouting out so loud to anyone who would listen and that is the cause of loss of voice... In future keep shouting out to the fellow quitters on this site...

I always had a croaky voice and I don't think it has changed in three months of quitting. I have been on Zyban and my mouth and throat can be incredibly dry. I would recommend, for so many reasons, drinking two litres of water a day. I am sure that will help - it has for me.
Good luck.

YES ! its not all the time and will just come on. My voice goes croaky and it's like I'm about to lose my voice. Ive put it down to my body doing some repair work.
