At the third stroke it will be 1 week ( phew ) since my last cigarette .... beep...beep...beep.

Small steps I know but you have to start somewhere.

great job, that first week really is a nightmare. Week 2 wasn't so bad but for me week 3 and 4 were nearly as bad as the first so don't let your guard down no matter what your inner voice throws at you...Every time you ignore that voice it is 1 step closer to the big picture.. which is WINNING.. I treated my early journey as a game with my inner voice and I kept getting stronger whilst my OFFSIDER got angrier but eventually it does give in.. Keep up the great work

Cheers, yeah I know, I've fallen at the first, second and third hurdle before, so I'm not counting my chickens. One day at a time seems to be working so far. Great job by yourself by the way.

schedule 18 Nov 2015

This time last year I had quit for eleven days. I remember some of how I did it. I was supportive of my good ideas for the family without being demanding. I also made myself little food snacks as a rewards. I also had a daily plan to delay smoking. One day I got a day up, so I tried for another day.

That's the only way I can seem to do it, not to get too far ahead of myself, just keep taking it one day at a time. Good luck to you Penelopejane.
