Day 15. Some days are diamonds, some days are bloody awful. Into week 3 so hoping things start to even out a bit more now. Seem to be a lot more tired this time than I did in previous attempts, don't know if this is a good or bad thing, anyone else find themselves very tired or am I just a weirdo ?

Your body is healing. Smoking is also very stressful. Without thar stressyou will need t recouperate. Maybe some stretching excercisesto get the toxins out of you muscles or relaxation tapes. The tapes where you tighten and relax your muscle in groups.

Keep at it 2 Pack. You are doing great. I am at day 17 myself. The first week for me wasn't too bad (I wouldn't describe it as being wonderful either) but there were days during the second week that were absolutely awful. Week three has been really good for me so far. The cravings have pretty much gone (evened out as you say) and I would describe what I am feeling about smoking as nothing more than passing thoughts. If you hang in there I am sure this 'evening out' will happen for you too sometime soon. No doubt there will be times in the future where you have to be on your guard against temptation but you have battled through the really hard stuff and have so many positives to look forward to. And yes, during the second week of quitting I felt much more tired than normal but I am now starting to feel I have more energy than I have had for a long time. I think that anyone quitting smoking devotes a lot of mental energy to fighting nicoteen addiction. It is a hard battle and this can leave you feeling exhausted.

Thanks Threds, pretty much the same for me, first week not to bad ( as far as first weeks go ) but the end of the 2nd week wasn't good, would've thought the worst of it would have been over by then but there you go. Always seems to be something exciting and new each time you quit, this time tiredness and aches and pains in places that I didn't even now I had places. I think you might be right that the amount of mental effort is sometimes forgotten. Keep up the good work yourself.
