Champix

Second week of taking champix. The first week was terrible. I had mood swings, depression and really vivid dreams. I have just stopped smoking and feel better on the second week.
My moods are more stable. I think it was just my body getting use to the medication, so it has been worth it. If you're still having problems after the second week then see a doctor. I still get very vivd dreams and two of them have been violent but meh it hasn't effected me. Best thing is I don't have cravings and don't even think about ciggerettes

Howdy, sounds a lot like my first experience with champix. What I discovered was that first week of hell is also basically nicotine withdrawal because of the receptors in the brain blocking it's uptake. I was lucky with the dreams and got good ones! Even though I um have had a relapse, at 6 months, I know I'd never have got that far if not for the drug and now have the confidence I can do it so am four days smoke free again and going to stick with it this time. I'm so happy for you to be having such a positive experience of freedom really :-)

Well done. Hammering. Congratulations for quitting smoking. I don't have much to say about champix since I quit cold turkey 448 days to date. Since, we have the same goal that is to be happy n healthy. I just want to say.. keep going.. it feels awesome to be smoke free. Best wishes!!
