221 days and counting

I have started noticing things which make me believe that I may never smoke again....an example today was stopping at a traffic light and actually smelling the car next to me....it had one smoker inside but i was sickened by the aroma....I used to love that smell... was I insane?
Money wise at today's prices (Quit NSW cannot keep up with price rises) I have pocketed more than $7,500. It is hard to accept that I used to spend more than $10,000 to ingest toxins.
Health wise the lungs are healing slower than hoped. Initially there was significant weight gain, however, as my breathing improves I have starting a regular pattern of exercise. 6 kilos lost in 5 weeks to date but another 20 kilos to go.
What else can I say...half recommended dose of Champix......taken only for 8 days (I was concerned with the way itg made my head feel) and I have never looked back. Miracle, lifechanging meds for me....
I hope you all have a similar experience

So impressed that you have tallied up such a number. That reveals real determination. I am no expert and I have a long way to go, but I do think that the combination of determination (encouraged by visiting this site) and medication (in my case, Zyban) is the answer to this hideous addiction.
Walking has been my saviour in all of this but even so, I have never eaten so much sugar in all my life.
Keep on fighting the good fight.
