The Smoking Wars Saga Continues

Posted in Quit experiences
schedule 29 Oct 2015

The Smoking Wars Saga continues I am now at day 35 smoke free with the dark side of smoking starting to loose its grip. There have been times when the lure of a dart at work has been strong with a couple of low force moments when I have succumbed to the power of the smoke. This has not been entirely bad however as it has provided me the chance to remember why I am not smoking anymore and that I really do not enjoy this powerful habit anymore. it also provides me the opportunity to be honest with my daughter and to role model that we all make mistakes and we are not perfect (although we try). The best thing to do is be honest apologise and get on with using the good side of the Force of unconditional love and determination not to give up at any cost. The fight is strong with this one and the motivation non wavering. The force be with you for a smoke free life resist and win the Smoking Wars.

Hi Jazz. What amazes me about the posts on this site are the similar but oh so different reasons for starting and stopping. This site is an eye opener. The best part is that we are on a quest to beat the habit/addiction. It works best when we support each other. So many identify with the stories others post. The support is so precious as it is often what someone says that keeps us strong. Enjoy the journey and the subscribers to this site.
