day 2

day 1 is easy, day 2 I have found to be harder. You must keep yourself busy and I have tried to stay away from others as hve a short fuse BE BUSY is the key

Yes your dead rite, Keep the brain active, don't get bored, hour by hour, day by day...we can beat this...well done so far mate

Take it from me and everyone else on this site, day 1 & 2 are harder than day 20, 65, 100, 148 or beyond... I remember vividly taking those early scary steps on the road to abstaining from smoking. Like learning to ride a bike. Early days mean you are testing your ability to "survive". You hope you won't fall or hit a brick wall... If either of the latter present themselves, toughen up and look the other way. Get back on that bike. Pedal like mad away from what may seem to be a craving and a temptation.

I've been quit for 6 weeks now, the first two weeks was all about quitting smoking... Everything I thought about was not having a cigarette, changing my habits and making sure my mind was clear. Now I don't have to really think about it, it's just the way I am now. It gets easier everyday, every now and then it pops up but I just remind myself that I have saved nearly saved $800, gained a week of life and not smoked 750 cigs! Crazy but so glad! You can do it... Keep at it!

don't apologise for being a grumpy b u m I am at 170 days and still get grumpy "cause I just want a ciggie" NOW!!!! just 1 of my child like tanty
