Well it's been a month(with a slip at day 11) which means it's also a month to my first 10k race! That was my focus from the start,it's always been a big thing for me to have a plan! I've seen a big difference to my breathing even though i thought my 5 a day habit couldn't possibly be affecting me! Forgetting the fact that1. I have been smoking for over 30 years (at times 20-30 a day)and 2. I was TOTALLY psychologically dependant on those 5. The best bit of advice i've had on this site was from Dave when he said to watch out for the unexpected moments, when your guard is dow. The obvious times, places and things we are being extra vigilant but when out of the blue something happened i had NO defence.Just being aware of that was really helpful. Anyhoooo..just to say thanks for the ongoing support and to those new people who may be looking at the site but not ready just yet, just keep coming back, even if you slip...best of luck to everyone and thanks for all the support so far. Well done Shasha. We have to celebrate these milestones and one month is huge. I am so impressed that you are going in the 10km race and that you feel better for it. Keep up the good work.
