Using patches and vapes

I quit about 3 weeks ago. It has been tough after 40 years. I have used the patch off and on. I am worried I am becoming too dependent on vapes. Is it possible I am trading real cigs for vapes? Please help.

I don't know anything about vapes, sorry I can't help. It's gotta be better than cigarettes though I would think. Does it still have the nicotine but without all the chemicals? In that case you'd still be addicted to the nicotine & would have to wean yourself off them too I guess. Whatever the case your doing the right thing by being real smoke free and checking into this site. Good luck.

Hi Scottie I've quit now for just over a month after 37 years of smoking. I used cystine oral strips and ecig. I don't have nicotine in the ecig but feel dependent on it! I don't care at the moment. I'm hoping as time goes on I will start to forget about the real smokes And then I will cut back on vaping! You may be dependent at the moment? I've been looking up research about vaping but not much being done as they have only been around for several years! If it's only been couple of weeks I would say keep of the real smokes and keep vaping for awhile, but I'm no expert! Good luck
