Today is day 3. I know I have a long way to go, but I only had a few cravings that lasted a few minutes. And when it happened, I just got busy with something. That would take my mind off it. Also coming on this site helped. I hope everyone has a great smoke free weekend!

Well done Valic. Keeping busy is the key. I think we've all ended up with a much cleaner house, more organised, better gardens, yummy cooking, the list is endless. You will become more active and find things you are interested in that you've put off for years come to life again. Not smoking is actually LIVING! Stay alive.

Hi Valic sounds like you are getting heaps of practice on resisting cravings, and retraining of the brain. Well done. Hang in there it does get easier. Nice to see your post and most importantly your progress. Keep posting xxx

Hi Valic, well done 3 days is hard! I hear the cravings get easier as time goes by, they have a little for me but I'm using an e cig without nicotine just flavouring. It's helped. Good luck on your journey xx
