1 year today
Wow today is 1 year that I have not had a cigarette i have tried many times to quit but have not gone past 3 months. I had 2 sessions of hypnotherapy which has been my life saver as it and my own determination to QUIT has helped me, I have also been logging into this sight on a daily basis and reading all the posts so thankyou all heaps. I have been smoking for 35 years 20 plus cigarettes a day so I am sure of the words never give up giving up works if you really want to. Good Luck to everyone and stay strong.

Wow, congratulations to you! Another success story. I had to laugh when I saw the name to this post. I must confess, Sconie was my nickname all through my childhood. The name stuck so well that my sisters still call me Scon or Sconie to this day, even my mum still does on occassion. Thanks for posting your acheivement today & giving us all hope. well done.

Ha ha...all these years I was dead set sure I would be the only one so it's nice to know there's another one out there - a smoke free one!
Thank you for sharing Sconie, I'm only1 month smoke free! You inspire me by being so positive, also we have many years of smoking behind us in common. I thought I wouldn't ever give up because it was just too hard and I smoked for so many years! Congratulations and Thanks for all the positive vibes!
