Woo hoo Day 60 One Year 305 days away

How exciting Day 60 and to celebrate I went on my First ever motobrbike ride with my husband.Bit scary doing the lean on corners and he couldn't help himself and fanged it a couple of times but anyway very proud that I did something different. Call it determined or stubborn or self resolve or just sooo determined but I won't give in and I won't donate another cent to those Cigarette companies.
I was thinking about all those cliche statements that you learn when your a kid like :-
Don't ever give up
Believe in yourself
If you do something everyday you get better at it
If you put a bit of money away each day it certainly adds up
Take it one day at a time
Set your goal and aim for it
Fear holds us back
The journey starts with the first step ( even little steps)
YOUR HEALTH Is YOUR WEALTH ( my mums favourite, now my mantra)
Sadly we dismiss these as old and yeah yeah but I have learnt in the last 60 days that they are soooo true and some of the best advice I have received, fear always held me back from giving up darts or going on a motorbike but I have done it sometimes we just get caught up being a rat on a wheel same old routine day in and day out and we just forget to put the handbrake on and evaluate where are we going and what we would like to do . All of the above are true for me, but the last 60 DAYS have been life changing for me I've saved heaps of money and I'm heading in a totally new direction. And guess what , I'm loving it. Keep strong everyone

Well done!!! You rock Nannette. What a great post, it was very inspirational to read. I have also changed a lot on my thinking and my actions. I'm doing so much more in life now and enjoying it.. Keep it up, I'm on your tail- only 4 days behind you!
CONGRATULATIONS. great effort. Tough week but you didn't let it beat you. You are keeping me motivated as well.

Hi ladies thanks for your lovely posts.we should call ourselves TEAM DETERMINED as only a few days separates us all. What's that song John Denver sings "some days are diamonds and some days are STONE" do you reckon he ever smoked and t wrote that song when he was giving Up" He certainly is in tune with how we feel on the giving up journey. Keep strong "team determined" we gotta keep biting each other's tails a few days apart and keep each other motivated. Awwww I'm dreaming about how good it will feel when we click over a century "the big 100" and now that actually feels attainable, 61 days ago it was a dream. Thank you love your posts. Xxxx
