I earned them

schedule 11 Aug 2015

Well as you have probably read I had a slip up on Saturday after 21 days smoke free and let me say , I was determined to smoke again! Who cares ..right? Got to die of something ..Right? Sucked about 5 into me that evening went to bed and woke through the night feeling sooo bad, so disappointed with myself.

Sunday morning back on track ..anyway what I wanted to say is this .... Those 21 days smoke free I earned . It was me who fought the cravings , who had insomnia , who ate everything I could get my hands on ( lol) so I changed my quit date back to its original place cause I earned that . Yes I start again but those days belong to me and have become part of my journey . Ok I'm happy again now xx

That is. very encouranging, Lizzie. I almost fell for a ciggie yesterday on my 19 th day....I had such a bad craving, my son was smoking and I ALMOST gave in.....I scared myself."

You are absolutely correct Lizzie. Those smoke free days belong to you. Slipping up doesn't mean that they are now discarded and they don't mean anything. I think that those 21 smoke free days are more important than your one day of slipping up. Good on you for keeping your original quit date. I would do the same if it happened to me and I would use the words keep going rather than start again. Best of luck :)
