Finding it hard.

I just want to ask is there any tips to help me cut back before I actually reach my quit date thank you?

The irony is, apparently if you tell yourself to smoke more before your quit date you will actually smoke less. The whole quit process is about changing your habits and developing new habits, this requires belief, belief in yourself that this change is possible. Also ask yourself, do I want to stop smoking OR Do I HAVE TO stop smoking?Therein lies the difference of success.

I put more time further and further apart between each cig. So when you want the cigarette just say I will wait for 10mins next one wait 20mins and so on, In the end I said I will just do the washing up first then I will do the weeding the garden just so the time would pass between each one. I replaced the craving with something to do. I just got busy and ended up with a clean house lol. Hope this helps for you to come up with some coping mechanism.
