schedule 8 Aug 2015

Omg 40 days tomoz how good will that feel. Even though I'm aching all over with flu symptoms, nothing can take away the fact that I still fell good. I'm flawed by the gentleman's story the other day that he has lung cancer.it was a brave post, but after I read it I looked at my beautiful daughters and I pray that I will be there for all there special moments. He just strengthened my resolve. It's a no brainer.Smoking is such a selfish past time when you look at those you love. As my mother always says "your health is your wealth". Keep strong everyone x

Hi Nannette, 40 days, that's great. I am 89 days smoke free and like you loving it. Apart from the financial benefits, the fact that I do not smell like an ashtray and no longer stand outside the restaurant, alone smoking . Now I realise how much time I spent smoking or how much time I wasted. The gentleman's story the other day really made me stop and think that there are no guarantees in life and we have to do our best to hang around and live life at it's best. I hope he has his treatment and is OK. to all of us he has inspired me to continue on my quit journey and not look back.

Go Nannette. No stopping you now. I'm currently having a holiday on the big island and it's so nice not to have to stop for a smoke. Next stop .....50 days.
