Hi all, I've been a smoker for 28 years, 20 a day. Tried a few times to quit but with no success, then last week I was down with a bad chest infection, there was my que to stop smoking, heading to the doctors next day for antibiotics and champix,I'm one of the lucky ones as I had no desire to smoke during the chest infection and started taking champix during being I'll,I'm now on day 6 and absolutely no wanting to smoke, I do get the odd wave but gone in a matter of seconds. I know it's only been 6 days smoke free but it feels like a huge ball and chain has gone and feel like I did when I was a smoke free Child..awesome feeling don't give up it will be worth it in the end.

Hi Baz, nice work! I'm a Champix user too and I have had no cravings. It's really weird and I'm just waiting to see if they start. I've had horrific nightmares, bad anger and I'm still suffering insomnia but no cravings. It's really amazing. I'm on day 47. Best of luck to you! It feels so good to be free of it.
