- YOU IDIOT.
YOU IDIOT.

So after 3 weeks smoke free and feeling the best I had in years, a bbq, a few beers and you know what comes next. *Insert your own word* IT!!!
So I'm back on the getting off it horse......again. Day 2, back to the no sleep, cravings and anxious world of withdrawing, at least I know what to expect. Not that I'm in any position to give advice but all I would say is if you've had a slip up like me, the sooner you start again the better. A tip for young players, the withdrawal is about as much fun the 2nd time as it was the first. Anyway, onward and upward...always look on the bright side of life.

Dear 2 pack You've had a shocker as I have with my last three quit attempts. Ive called this one my final quit as this one is for good and Im 15 days in and the whole process is motivating me to not want to do the quit thing again. Anyway back on your bike, I admire you for getting back on quickly. Youll be right at least you know what to expect this time. The Bright side of life should be your quit song. Go for it. Best of Luck

Yes Nannette I agree, a total shocker. The worst part is that the first one wasn't even that nice but like a true smoker I managed to stick with it. With your withdrawal experience have you ever just ached all over, this is a new one to me....or do I have another exciting new problem not related to this?

Hi Barry Crocker no more shockers for you. Hope you enjoyed your last dart, anyway no issues for me with aches and pains. Just issues with my alter ego Feral Beryl who I keep contained as she always as the $@&ts and is very irritable and has issues staying on task and concentrating. Hopefully she will move on soon. Maybe you just have a virus. Stay on your bike Barry we await your next update. Only ride in dart free zones.

I did the same 2 Pack. It appears we have had the same run. The withdrawal is the same but the hard part will be over in 3 days this time. Alcohol is my weakness, ciggi's and a drink go hand in hand. You will find that once you get through night with a few drinks and no cig's you will get stronger and confident each time. I try to have my first few drink nights at home where there is no temptation, then start to branch out. You will still need your guard up but you will get stronger every time. Cheers to us both getting straight back on the wagon and moving on. Everyday smoke free is a good day

No one should call themselves an idiot for attempting to give up this habit. It takes the average smoker many attempts to successfully give this habit away. I was a 29 year smoker, now 2 years smoke free. Just keep motoring on and YOU WILL give it away.
