Power of Champix
Hi, I have been a smoker since age of 16 (just turned 50!!). Have been taking Champix for almost 3 weeks. Stopped smoking on day 8, I haven't had a puff since nor wanted to .. 9 days smoke free. Absolute miracle !!! Side affects are not nice, nausea and horrid dreams .. so I have decreased my dose from 1mg twice a day to just taking 1mg once a day in the morning (with food) .. So far so good !! I will speak to my doctor next week about my dosage but hoping I can continue the way I am going. Feeling confident :)
Well that is fantasic the same with me started age 15yrs now 60 I'm on champix and I was wondering why I was having terrible dreams. Now I know thanks for that. Sixteen days now and I still need help that is why I've joined Quitline I need the support. X
Good on you Suzygirl .. Are you experiencing any nausea? I have been googling "Champix side affects" and apparently nausea and vivid dreams/nightmares are common. Good luck on your journey. We can do it 👍🏼
