I have quit smoking that many times I have lost count. This time I used pre quit patches so I knew my quit date from the start. I use these patches to change my daily routine of smoking. I delayed having the first smoke of the day with my morning coffee & gave the coffee away in the second week as my taste buds changed. I found changing the morning ritual very helpful. Into the second week of pre quit I was smoking less & the cravings were reduced. I guess cause my mind knew the smokes were still there just diminished. When my quit date arrived I went on to the proper patch & the cravings are very minimal. I think my willpower is very strong this time because I had the 2 weeks of smoking & changing habits to prepare myself. I still feel like a smoke but it doesnt last long & I do things to distract my self. I have started eating lots of fruit & drinking water. My friends that smoke are very supportive & dont smoke around me. Having extra money to buy things I always wanted & couldnt afford is a great incentive. Good luck to all & stay positive. In my mind all I see with smoking is the negatives which keeps me going.

Well done Shyang. Great plan using the per quit patches. I haven't heard of them they sound good . Well done .and stay positive!

Thanks. Today was a little bit hard for some reason. Dont know if its because im a shift worker & my patches go on whenever or cause my sleep pattern is all over the place. Will stay positive & soldier on.

Go on and never give up bcz u are positive side and u will recover bit by bit also your health is getting better day by day
