Need help plzzzz

Hi guys I have a question please help me I am so stressed. I have been smoke-free for about 1 and half a month until yesterday. Yesterday I smoked about 5 cigarettes because of major financial problem issue I was too stressed without any cigarettes. Today I havent smoked but I am hating myself right now. Is it going to be that hard when i first quit smoke? or is it going to be smoother because most of the toxic chemicals were out /i have acne all over my face and neck so most toxins are getting out of my body/. Pleeaaase help me. And please answer honestly and please give me some tips

I mean is it going to be as hard as I quit smoking first time? Because I think most of the toxic chemicals were out and 5 cigarettes dont cause that much toxins. Acnes on face and neck has started to disappear actually. Plz help mee the successful ones

Dont be to hard on yourself. Giving up smoking is all bout baby steps. As they say go an hour without one then go two hours etc. Bit like playing mind games with yourself & getting your thoughts thinking next hour you will get one & so on etc but just keep trying & put it off. I know you said you had financial problems & stress got the better of you but what you save from not smoking can go towards helping you. Doesnt sound much in the begining but it soon adds up. My credit card debt was going no where till I changed my habits. Most people have slip ups just comes down choice Take the easy way & smoke or be strong & start being a non smoker again. All the best to you. You can do it.

Thank you Shyang, but it wasnt a slip up I guess. It was relapse. I wonder if it is going to be as hard as I quit smoking 2 months ago that I have to go through all those stress ...

Hi Backy there are few recent posts ton this site from people who have slipped up for one day. A lot of them have decided to continue their quit and just not count the day they slipped up, which I admire. Six weeks is a loooong time and you have shown you can do it. It's a personal choice as to whether you stay on your quit journey or not. I slipped up on day 26 last year and then continued to smoke fully for nine months before I have started the quit journey. I wish I had gone straight back to quit as I was mentally and physically in the zone and people do slip up. Good luck with your choice.

It was a slip up and you dealt with it, you r now back on track, I'd say "that's pretty good"

Thank you sooo much Nanette Jenny. I will continue my quit and decided to ignore that i have slipped. I will continue to count days without breaking :) but i feel terribke anf osin in my chest any tips on that :)
