Am enjoying letting friends far and wide know that I am on this journey of abstaining from lighting up. I share the motivation and the number of days since going cold turkey not to mention the dollars saved from being reduced to ash with the support from the community of people who have subscribed to this site. And how without this support, the journey may so easily come to a grinding halt. Meanwhile, my craving, named Margaret Thatcher will not be pulling my strings...

Hi Lia. I had read briefly about you and Margaret Thatcher, but in going back i understand how it evolved with Bigjohn. He claimed it helped people that he knew, and i was wondering, since great stories do get buried, if you would oblige and retell the story. Who knows who may benefit from another perspective. I too can almost tell who will achieve this journey simply by their opening statements. I think this is your first post, and so you must have been following Bigjon before making your presence known. Just as I suspected, it was a positive outlook post.... and of course success followed.
Keep on being an inspiration Lia. So many now and in the past say how they enjoy and look forward to the stories and support. We can all make a difference whether successful or not, if we share and support trials and tribulations. Amen.
