Hi I am so proud to say that May 9 will be a year since I stopped smoking. It was so easy and the only reason I can think of is that I really wanted to stop. Champix is awful stuff. I suffered weight gain, mood swings, water retention! Im ok now except there is one thing I would like to know. How many people have managed to lose that weight?

Hi Li, you should be proud. Can't wait to be in your position in a years time. Losing weight? Well, all I can say is walking every day & eat right, you don't need to go to the gym and do a million sit ups and try to kill yourself, I've done that. I follow the Body Trim way of life & I know it works. 6 healthy, small meals a day, 3 of these are protein only snacks in between the mains (50-100 grams). Basically eating every 3 hours, lots of water & walks, I guarantee you'll lose it. Eat more small meals a day you lose weight & don't go hungry, eat not much and your body keeps the fat because it's in starvation mode, it wants to store because it thinks it's not getting enough so better hang on to it. Just make sure each main meal & snack has 50-100 grams of protein, snacks protein only, mains protein plus unlimited vegies or salad. 1 meal a day is the worst thing you can do, especially if it's late at night. Anyway, just go to the Body Trim website and you'll see for yourself. Good luck, if you can give up smoking for a year you can certainly lose weight!

Hi Bronte thanks for the tips. The problem is implementing them. But Im not gonna be hard on myself I have had a bad 20 months lost my husband etc so hopefully sooner rather than later I will start getting rid of the unwanted kilos. Good luck to you too. Secret to stopping smoking is to really want to and then Champix will do its job.
