busted day2

I busted, was with my Mum, and she has dementia, and a short term memory loss. So, I guess it was the frusturation visiting her, and the repeated stories I have heard before. her memory is so short term, she will repeat herself just 10 mins later. I was very frusturated with her. I need a cigarette, right now. And I did have to buy a new packet of 50. I think I am doing too much at once, with a very low calorie diet, I have just started on Monday? It is Too much. Should have known you can't do both, it creates too much stress. So I do need to better cope, and re assess this. Not sure what needs to come first. As I am very over weight. And I do need to do both, for my health, and financially. some advice from you out there. Thanks TRISH

Smoked hopefully my last cigarette on the way to work yesterday, then stopped at a drug store to buy the patch. Went all day and all night and when I went to change the patch before work today had one before I put it back on. Not discouraged almost through the day today again and not smoking, but I feel awful and so, so tired. Is this normal? I will take any help and suggestions also

Hey Trish. . . Obviously you know that being overweight is not good for you and same goes for the smoking however, being overweight and smoking is doubling everything that's already doubled due to the smoking aspect. In my opinion (and it is just that) i'd say stop the smoking first. Go for a light walk each day and instead of focusing on an actual diet just make halthier choices. I wish you all the luck in reaching your goals and you know what. . . at least you are aware of and thinking about those goals.
Cheers Jeff
