I had a cigarette driving to work on Tuesday 4/7. Stopped at a drug store and bought the patch. Went all day Tuesday and when I got up on Wednesday to change the patch I had 2 cigarettes while I was doing the crossword and drinking tea. Put the patch on and lasted all day, Got up this morning and immediately put the patch on after changing it. Very very hard to drink tea and do crossword without it. Felt all out of source and had no patience with my puppy. I am also feeling depressed and very very tired. Can anyone tell me if this is normal

Thanks for your support. But, very depressed at the moment. You see, I have hypothyroidism, and that is why the weight won't budge. And is distressing. No matter how hard I try. I am on that VLCD with the sachets 3 times a day. I know I sound like I am carrying on, but, I just can't give up just yet. It's too much at one time. Maybe get this under control, then I just might have a better chance later on? I have tried Hypnotherapy, patches, gum, tablets. I think my thyroid has a lot to do with the quit programme working? because my thyroid is not working properly, hence the nicotine replacement does not work either? Will be looking into it with my GP. Will get back to you later on. Thanks once again. TRISH.

Take every day one day at a time. I have CFS- which leaves me tired all the time, and now no nicotine running through my system I even feel more tired which I did not think was possible. You are right in consulting your GP. Just tackle one obstacle at a time. I wish you the best of luck and let me know how you are doing.
